June 27 - Opening Night

The Barnstormers’ 2019 Season opens with Damn Yankees, sponsored by the Mt Washington Cog Railway. To celebrate the Railway’s 150th anniversary and the opening of our show, we have collaborated with the Tamworth History Center, Tamworth Distilling and the Art in the Age Café for an evening of laughter and history!

Stroll to the village green to see the Cog’s venerable engine Peppersass on the last night of its four-day whistle stop in Tamworth Village. The Tamworth Distilling will be tasting-out a special "Cogtail" accompanied by a house-baked Earl Grey shortbread cookie created by our friends at the Art in the Age Café

Make sure your dinner plans for the evening include The Other Store’s Daley Café, launching its summer Dinner-on-the-Deck season in conjunction with Opening Night at The Barnstormers. Fresh local ingredients prepared by a local chefs make a perfect pre-theatre and/or post-Peppersass meal. Park once, stroll the Village, dine overlooking the Swift River.
